Plan your court equipment with the playing surface. Ace Courts installs court lighting, basketball hoops and tennis and pickleball net systems across Utah, Arizona and Idaho. Our in-house crews coordinate equipment locations, concrete footings and the court layout, with no subcontractors.

Lighting for the way you play

We install Dominator LED court lighting and coordinate fixture placement, pole height and aiming with the court dimensions. The plan considers useful playing light, glare, neighboring properties and the hours you expect to use the court.

The right layout depends on the site and selected equipment. We discuss applicable property restrictions and approvals before finalizing the scope. A lighting plan should address the full court rather than rely on a fixed pole count for every project.

Steel poles and concrete footings

Black powder-coated steel poles can complement the fencing and court finish. We plan pole locations and concrete footings before construction, with the specified equipment and site conditions in mind. For an existing court, we first assess access and the work needed around the playing area.

The finish helps protect the steel but still needs appropriate care. We explain what to inspect on the poles, hardware and fixtures as part of maintaining your installation.

Basketball hoop installation

Hoop placement affects the whole basketball layout. We coordinate the selected backboard, overhang, adjustment features and footing with the available playing space. Equipment choices and clearances should be settled before concrete work begins.

Tennis and pickleball net systems

Net posts, sleeves and tensioning equipment need to fit the sport and intended use. We discuss a dedicated net or an arrangement suited to a shared court, and coordinate equipment locations with the slab and game lines.

Pickleball playing lines are 20 feet wide by 44 feet long; net posts sit outside the sidelines. The overall playing surface also needs clear space around those lines. Review the full footprint when planning a new pickleball court.

Equipment for homes and shared facilities

Private backyards, HOAs, schools and recreation facilities have different schedules, users and maintenance needs. We discuss those requirements alongside the selected equipment so the scope fits the setting.

Equipment installation questions

Can lighting be added to an existing court?

Yes, after reviewing the court, access and proposed pole locations. The scope may include concrete footings, electrical work, fixtures and aiming. We explain the work required before installation.

How many light poles do I need?

The count depends on court dimensions, fixture output, mounting height and the lighting layout. We assess the site and equipment before recommending a system.

Can you install a hoop without building a new court?

We can discuss a hoop installation after checking the available space, existing surface and footing requirements. Send photos and the equipment you have in mind so we can assess the project.

Can one court support several sports?
