Understand the damage before choosing a repair

A crack, a rough patch, or peeling color can have more than one cause. We look at the playing surface, previous repairs, drainage, and signs of movement before recommending work. The right scope depends on the condition of your court, not just how the damage looks in a close-up photo.

For pickleball, basketball, tennis, and shared courts, the assessment also considers the areas where players stop, turn, and land. Raised edges or loose surface material deserve attention before the affected area is used.

Repair work matched to your court

On a suitable base, the work may include surface preparation, treatment of repairable cracks, and repair of worn or damaged coatings. Materials must be compatible with the existing court and the selected finish. If the court also needs a renewed playing surface, we can coordinate the repairs with acrylic resurfacing and new game lines.

Recurring cracks, changes in slab height, or persistent ponding can point to issues beyond the coating. We explain when a surface treatment has limits and when the project needs further assessment or a broader construction scope. Active movement can cause cracks to return, and a repair may remain visible.

Repair, resurfacing, or a new court?

Repair addresses a specific defect. Resurfacing renews the playing finish on a suitable existing base. A moving or failing base may require work beyond either approach. Our recommendation starts with that distinction so you can make an informed decision before investing in a fresh surface.

Show us what your court needs

Send your city, court type, approximate dimensions, and wide and close-up photos of the affected areas. Include any previous repairs, changes over time, and places where water collects. Photos help us start the conversation; they do not replace an on-site assessment where one is needed.

GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Before you
repair your court.

Can you repair cracks without resurfacing the whole court?

Some courts may be suitable for a targeted repair. The decision depends on the crack, the surrounding coating, previous treatments, and the condition of the base. We assess those details before recommending a local repair or combining repairs with resurfacing.

Will repaired cracks come back?

They can. Surface repair cannot prevent movement in the slab or base, and a treated crack may return or remain visible. We explain the limitations of the proposed repair before work begins.

How much does sport court repair cost?

The affected area, preparation, existing materials, drainage, access, and any resurfacing or structural work influence the quote. Share photos and approximate dimensions so we can discuss the scope and whether a site assessment is needed.

Can you assess a post-tension concrete court?

Yes. Let us know that your court uses post-tension concrete when you request an assessment. Cutting, drilling, or routing the slab requires specialist planning around the tendons; do not begin that work without a qualified review.

How long will the court be out of use?

Timing depends on the repair scope, weather, drying conditions, and the selected materials. We discuss the work schedule and return-to-play requirements for your court before the project begins.
